I've been wanting to make an ilustration like this for quite some time now. integrate a cell painted character over a "realistic" painted background is easier nowadays thank's to the miracles of digital painting and image composition. but still it's quite a chalenge to match every color acording to de mood of the scene. this has been my first atempt and I'm quite satysfied with it.
